Samsung's Galaxy A32 5G emerges as the first mid-range device from the tech giant’s soiree to receive the latest March 2024 security update. Setting a precedent for enhanced security, Samsung recently rolled out the update Galaxy S23, S24, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4, and Z Fold 5. But now it extends its protective features to Galaxy A32 5G.

The rollout of the March 2024 update commences in Latin America, with firmware version A326BXXSACXC5 becoming available in Brazil, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. The update addresses over four dozen security vulnerabilities in the previous software iteration, bolstering the device's defense against potential threats.

Despite the lack of new features or performance enhancements, the emphasis on security underscores Samsung's commitment to ensuring the integrity of its mid-range offerings. Users in Latin America can conveniently access the update by navigating to the Settings app, selecting Software Update, and initiating the download process.

Following its round trip in the Latin American regions, the OTA will begin the tour of other countries, potentially including Pakistan. Launched in early 2021 with Android 11, the Samsung budget 5G mobile received subsequent updates to Android 12 and Android 13 in late 2021 and late 2022, respectively.

However, it's important to note that the device has reached the end of its software update lifecycle and will not receive any further Android OS updates. As Samsung continues security revamps across its product lineup, the Galaxy A32 5G’s March 2024 update remains a testament to the company's long-term software support.
