Apple iPhone 16 Leaked Design is Hardly Worth the Hype it's Getting; Here's Why

There’s hardly a noticeable change ever to deem it even worth mentioning. From the 12th to the 15th, we have seen Apple rehash the same old design for the last three generations. Playing it safe does the trick for Apple, so why even bother tinkering with it, right?

But consistent and boring has a fine line in between. And Apple may have stepped over it. They realize that fact well enough. That’s why they’ve refreshed the iPhone 16 design. But is it fresh, though? Isn’t the new iPhone 16 design only a mix of modern looks and an iPhone X-style camera island?

It has been the question on everyone’s mind ever since the leaked retail case video. Another change is visibly apparent to us. Maybe it is to you also. You can notice the capture button on the low right side in the case cutout. That might be a customizable button, but primarily, they want it to be a camera shutter.

One functional change, and one aesthetic change; that’s all you get with Apple's upcoming iPhone 16 model’s overhauled chassis. There may be more, but not enough to fall in love with it head over heels. We are positive it’s more hype than a huge overhaul for its looks.

Rumors and reports will have us believe in the slim bezel theory for the next iPhone 16. Maybe all of what you read here is legit, but we can neither confirm nor deny if it's part of the company’s plan. You’ll have to see it for yourself after the 16th series event in September.
