On the subject of Apple’s iPhone 16 series, there’s a new leak breaking the internet as we speak. A leaker has posted promotional images of the iPhone 16 series on his X account. There are many details here that might intrigue you. This is what the leak foreshadows.

Again, we see proof that Apple is switching to a vertically stacked camera on the vanilla iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. The leaked shot appears to be a product listing with details in Chinese language. This camera assembly is a clue for Apple’s 3D spatial video capture coming to the iPhone 16s.

The leak ratted out the spec sheet of the iPhone 16 with that first image. It would appear that the device has an Apple A18 chip. That camera setup gets an upgrade to 48 MP. So it can shoot better spatial videos for Vision Pro. Then, there’s a small hint at iPhone 16’s type-C support.

Another image went deep into the 48 MP ultrawide camera of Apple's latest iPhone 16. Of course, there’s a 48 MP primary unit in the setup. For the third one, the leaked image pointed at a Tetraprism periscope camera that can zoom up to 5X. It’s the lens that came with Pro Max and wasn’t available with the standard Pro.

But the periscope shooter will be available on both Pro phones this time. Then, we have confirmation of the Apple A18 Pro chip due for Pro iPhone 16 handsets. It will be more capable with faster clocks and more cores on the GPU, like before.

With the stats, the leaker also posted the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 render. The stack with iPhone 16 has tipped five color options. That other image showed a stack of four colors with the iPhone 16 Pro. One of those is likely the bronze-colored iPhone from earlier reports.
