The frequency of leaks for the upcoming iPhone 16 series is the highest now than it’s ever been. After the dummy leaks, we spotted another credible report yesterday, and its subject was a possible change in the launch schedule. September’s only a few weeks away, and that’s usually the month they reveal new iPhones.
Those changes in their launch schedule won’t make that big a difference. CNMO Technology News in China writes: ‘Apple plans to release a new iPhone 16 series on September 10 next month.’ That puts it two days ahead of last year’s debut on September 12.
The internet believes it’s plausible because Apple sticks with a launch on Tuesdays out of respect for their tradition. As likely as this may sound, CNMO didn’t have any tangible proof to back these claims, but it is a respected publication in China. We advise you to take this hint with skepticism.
But hold on to your horses because there’s more. We may have stumbled on Apple's iPhone 16 new models battery sizes from one of the other leaks. And yes, there’s an uptick in mAh count this time. We hear the iPhone 16 Pro has a power source 9% bigger than the iPhone 15 Pro.
A 3,577 mAh cell inside the iPhone 16 Pro is slightly better than the old 3,274 mAh one. iPhone 16 Pro Max will show up with a 5% uptick. Its battery will be 4,676 mAh rather than the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 4,441 mAh. It doesn’t seem much on paper, but it’s worth hours of additional screen-on time. Efficient screens and silicons will put a huge dent in those numbers.
