Apple iPhone SE 4 is near mass production, and we may even see it launch in 2025. We came across a report yesterday spilling the tea on Apple’s plans. People suspected it, but their report puts a pin on it. There’s no plan for SE’s release with the iPhone 16 lineup.
It won’t even begin production until October 2024, by the looks of it. After they release the iPhone 16 series in September, their focus will shift to a budget seller. And hopefully, after, the iPhone SE 4’s mass production will initiate in the months ahead.
Of course, their SE 4 will remain in the pipeline for about two or three months. And if all goes as the report claims. It will debut in January 2025 (right before the Chinese Lunar New Year). Contrary to this report, previous iPhone SEs kept their timelines locked within March. So that’s also a possibility.
All iPhones are switching to Type-C charging solutions, and the upcoming iPhone SE models will follow the trend. From the old Touch ID of SE 3, Apple will switch over to Face ID. We remain optimistic about some other cool features, like the Action Button. And there’s a chance it will bring back the notch.
From what the leaks claim, the iPhone SE 4, like all its forerunners, will keep a single camera on the rear. That will help Apple balance its costs without sacrificing too much on its performance. And yes, SE 4 will be current on the SoC. It will be fast, modern in looks, and on par with the iPhone 16.
