The Cygnal 3 and Cygnal 3 Pro from the affordable brand D-Code are cheap current-gen phones in Pakistan and the smartphone maker just knocked down their prices. If you’re in the market for a budget-first device, the Cygnal 3 duo perfectly fits the bill. Here are the details.
Following the discount, the Cygnal 3 (4/64GB) is available for Rs 23,500 instead of Rs 24,000. Cygnal 3 Pro (4/128GB) is down to Rs 24,500 from Rs 26,000. To recount what they offer, both models feature similar hardware and design, except for storage.
They have side-imbued fingerprint sensors and the screen size is good for entry-level devices with an overall screen-to-body ratio of 87.47%, all thanks to the water-drop notch at the top. You’re looking at a textured plastic back with a glossy highlight snaking across its length.
In the chassis, we find a standard side-facing fingerprint scanner. Off-center, there’s a compact squarish camera bump. Dcode Cygnal latest models displays stretch 6.52” across, delivering an HD+ resolution and a standard 269 DPI. D-code has carved a notch in the display — home to the front camera — and framed it inside chunky bezels.
Around the back, the triple cameras use a 13MP main sensor and dual AI secondary lenses for assistance. The front camera is a mediocre 5MP. Expect entry-level performance out of their MediaTek Helio G37 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of storage — expandable with a microSD card.
These internals are powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that promises up to 280 hrs of standby and 40 hrs of talk time. The playback is supported by single speaker and a 3.5mm audio jack.
