Tecno’s Spark Go line of smartphones features extremely low-cost, entry-level phones that pack only the essentials. The latest Go came out last year and Tecno is renewing it soon with a 2021 edition. Tecno Spark Go 2021 was featured in a promo microsite on Amazon, containing early previews, the launch date, and specs.
As per the formal announcements, the Tecno Spark Go 2021 is slated for a launch soon. It’ll make its debut in first India on July 1, and other Asian markets, including Pakistan, should follow soon. The phone is a mild refresh of the Spark 2020, not an entirely new device.
We’re looking at a 6.5” notched screen with an even bezel and a 720P resolution. A front-facing LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera are housed inside the top bezel. Tecno Spark Go 2021 has a curved plastic body and a lined pattern on it.
A back-facing speaker, a traditional fingerprint reader, and a black camera strip are mounted on the backplate of this new addition to the Tecno price list. The camera island features a 13MP wide lens and an AI sticker camera.
It lives on top of an accent with ‘Tecno Spark’ branding stamped on it. You can pick from mint, dark grey, and duo-tone orange to blue options.
Tecno Spark Go 2021 runs on a massive 5000 mAh battery, but naturally, there is no mention of any fast-charging support. The build should rock the trimmed Go version of the Android 11 OS. Plus, the chip would once again be supplied by MediaTek.
