Honor is adding a Lite edition to its Honor 30 series, on July 2. It’s a re-release of the Huawei Enjoy Z, which debuted in China earlier in May, carrying an attractive Huawei price tag. The company shared a teaser poster for the upcoming Honor 30 Lite, revealing its release date and design. At the July 2 event, Honor will also be unveiling the Honor X10 Pro and the X10 Max to round off the still-recent Honor X10 series.

As seen in the teaser preview, the Honor 30 Lite features a ‘glass slab’ look and a silver frame that glints under light, housing a convenient side-mounted thumbprint reader.

A sunburst pattern stretches out from a corner on a soft, gradient available in three different options. The official teaser only shows two, but a set of leaked renders showcases all three color variants: a faded pink-to-blue, a more expressive purple-to-violet, and a glossy, solid blue.

A lengthened, four-sided camera island occupies the top-left corner with three Honor cameras, the primary camera of 30 lite uses a 48MP sensor behind it, paired with 8MP + 2MP modules. The leaked renders also reveal a tall screen with a notch carved into it. It has a slim bezel profile around a 6.5” IPS LCD panel that produces an FHD+ resolution at a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The round notch holds a standard 16MP selfie camera.

The Honor 30 Lite is yet another member of Honor’s ever-expanding budget 5G family. It runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 chipset, powered by a 4,000 mAh battery and 22.5W fast charging. The processor works with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, and Honor will ship it with the MagicUI 3.1 based on Android 10 (and HMS + Huawei’s AppGallery onboard).

It’s expected to start from CNY 2,000 (~ 49,000 PKR).
