The much-anticipated Honor 30 series is scheduled for launch on April 15, in Honor’s domestic market. The duo includes Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro, which have been extensively leaked and reported thanks to their respective TENNA listings. Ahead of its launch, Huawei’s sub-brand has started teasing the devices on Weibo, revealing their color options and camera-centric build, no hint on Huawei Prices yet.

The post was published by Honor’s president, Zhao Ming, on his official Weibo profile. Apparently, the Honor 30 Pro will be borrowing the new Silver Frost finish from the recently-introduced Huawei P40 series.

The press render shows a glossy design and a quad-camera in a rectangular camera, with liquid silver pouring on the silver edition of the phone.

Credible reports also reveal the specifications for Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. The former is powered by a Kirin 985 SoC and 8GB of RAM, while the ‘Pro’ edition runs on the next-gen Kirin 990 5G chipset and 8GB/12GB memory options.

As per speculation, it’ll come with a Sony IMX500 50MP main sensor, and a 40MP one for the standard edition. The quad-lens is housed inside a lengthened rectangular bump – similar to the one you see on the P40 Pro. Rumor has it that part of the setup would include an Octa PD autofocus and a periscope sensor. For snapping selfies, they have a 32MP front camera.

The display on both models is an OLED panel that stretches 6.57 inches across and delivers an FHD+ resolution. You can pick from 128GB and 256GB storage options. The Official Huawei price Tags aren’t available yet, but the hardware runs on a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 40W rapid charging.
