The official launch of Honor 8A is scheduled for January 8, but it would just be a formality as the specs are already out on Chinese online stores and Honor has started taking Pre-Orders. In China, the smartphone is known as Honor Play 8A and this is a practical device.
From the front, the device looks pretty familiar, offering a full-view display with rounded bezels and a noticeable bottom chin bearing Honor's logo. The frame is made up of metal while the back cover is completely plastic and comes in a two-tone design with a choice of four colors: black, blue, red and gold.
Honor 8A Packs a 6.09 inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box with the latest EMUI 9.0 on top. Equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front the smartphone comes with only a single 13-megapixel camera on the back with f / 1.8 aperture.

8A by Honor is powered by a 3020 mAh battery though it's not yet clear if it supports the fast charging or not. The handset rocks an Octa-core 12 nm Helio P35 (MT6765) processor in conjunction with 3 GB of RAM. 8A will come in two variants based on storage 32 GB and 64 GB. Its price in China starts at $119 which roughly translates to 19,999/- Pakistani Rs After the taxes.
