Honor, the renowned smartphone brand, is all set to rock the global markets with its long-awaited Honor 90 series smartphones. The grand unveiling will happen on July 6. Ahead of the planet-wide deployment of the Honor 90 5G and the Honor 90 Pro, the company plans to hold an event in Paris, making it the first global market to receive the duo.
A tantalizing glimpse of the series by Honor has left enthusiasts brimming with excitement. The brand hinted at an "enhanced display" for the Honor 90 5G, igniting curiosity among the fans. The teased handset images showcase the same curved display mounted on the Chinese version; however, the chain did not allude to what has changed.
From what we have gathered till now, the global handset boasts identical specs to its Chinese counterpart, launched a few weeks ago. The Honor 90 5G bears a striking 6.7-inch OLED display. Boasting an FHD+ resolution of 2664x1200 pixels, it delivers stunning visuals with crisp clarity.
But that's not all. The display of Honor 5G new model supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, ensuring smooth and fluid animations while achieving a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. With a wide color gamut of 1.07 billion colors, the screen immerses users with vibrant hues and realistic imagery.
And here's the cherry on top: it incorporates the world's first implementation of 3,840Hz PWM dimming. The groundbreaking technology reduces flickering, which leads to a more comfortable viewing experience and combating eye fatigue.
Also, in terms of specs, the phone is decent overall, packing the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition with up to 12GB of RAM and a spacious 512GB storage. It has a triple-lens setup on the back primed with a 200MP sensor and a 50MP front-facing camera, which is one of a kind.
