Excitement mounts as the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro inch closer to the launch. The company plans to unveil the series on May 29th in China, but ahead of it, the handsets have been spotted in the wild, revealing their in hand-appearance, color options, and design elements.

A set of leaked images on Weibo provide compelling evidence about the color choices with the lineup. The options range from Star Diamond Silver, Gradient Blue, Dark Jade Green, and Bright Black. Enhancing their allure is the quad-curve screen design shared by both phones.

The screens are also distinct in terms of selfie camera units. The standard Honor 90 model boasts a hole-punch cutout at the top center, while the Pro version flaunts a distinctive and eye-catching "pill" shape cutout. Their aesthetic charm continues to mount with narrow bezels and high screen-to-body ratios.

Towards the rearing end, the vanilla Honor 90 has a dual-ring design, while Honor 90 Pro boasts two semi-circular protrusions with one ring LED and three camera sensors. 3C listings for both Honor's new 5G models verify that the higher-end model sports 100W charging while the trimmed variant caps the input at 66W.

Rumors suggest that only 90 Pro has 1.5K OLED; the other will likely cap its resolution to FHD+. An official Weibo poster that appeared earlier detailed Honor’s Zero-risk dimming eye protection screen technology that features an improved 3840Hz PWM dimming for added eye comfort.

Following a similar trend, the Pro variant takes the lead in performance, thanks to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 platform. The company also plans to enhance imaging for the Honor 90 Pro. Rumors indicate the device abounds with a 200MP ISOCELL HP3 sensor instead of a 160MP unit from Honor 80 Pro.
