Huawei has now more reasons to be proud of its sub-brand Honor. The Honor 8X smartphone got launched in September last year and up till now, more than 10 million units have been sold worldwide.
To commemorate the milestone, Huawei has also placed a price cut on Honor 8X in the Chinese market for a limited time. Sadly, the price drop was just China-specific and was not recorded anywhere else including Pakistan.
The Honor 8X is a budget smartphone but with very interesting features. It's quality/price ratio is probably the main factor for a large number of global sales. The handset packs a huge 6.5-inch screen with a water-drop notch and supports an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. Running the Kirin 710 chipset the 8X comes in 2 variants based on storage i.e the 4GB/64GB version and the 4GB/128GB model.
The smartphone also comes equipped with a 16 MP selfie shooter and a dual 20MP + 2MP camera setup on the back. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back while the handset features a 3750 mAh battery with fast charging.
Huawei's target is to be the no. 1 in the world, it wants Honor to become the world's fourth-largest smartphone manufacturer. The intentions are obvious, to completely dominate the high and low-end market. However, Xiaomi continues to provide a tough competition to the duo in the Asian markets by recently 'separating Redmi as a sub-brand.

Seems like the Honor 8X will continue to make high sales volumes globally with its excellent bang for the buck, however, unfortunately, "The value for money" does not hold true for the Pakistani market due to the currently applicable hefty taxes. The 4GB/64GB variant is available at 36,999/- Pak Rupees while the 4GB/128GB version costs around 42,999/- rupees. The smartphone comes in 3 colors, blue, red and black.
