Berlin recently played host to an electrifying keynote by Honor at IFA 2023, and it left the tech world buzzing with excitement! The manufacturer pulled back the curtains on its V Purse concept, a piece of tech set to redefine how we carry our gadgets.

While the V-purse generated more excitement than initially expected, the highlight of the keynote was the Honor Magic V2. Honor's CEO, George Zhao, took the stage to introduce the global audience to the company’s next-gen foldable smartphone.

Design-wise, Honor Magic V2 opts for a typical screen format with a full-wide bar-styled cover screen up front. Inside, an expansive square panel unfolds as a primary visor. One of the official images has a stylus showcased alongside the device, which means the displays have digitizers built-in for active pen support.

The Folder boasts the slimmest profile ever seen in a book-format device, rivaling the weight of some flagship bar-style smartphones. Despite its foldable nature, the Honor new Foldable phone feels remarkably comfortable in hand. And unlike the competitors, it has a larger 5,000 mAh battery under its hood.

The most intriguing details about the Magic V2 are to unwrap in the coming few days. Honor tantalizingly left the spectators hanging, keeping the cost outside China and the availability timeframe under wraps. But the show is far from over.

Honor will surely follow up this event with a grand international unveiling of the Honor Magic V2, sharing all the availability details and the pricing. The only question that remains: When will this momentous occasion take place? The company intends to announce the date for the upcoming event very soon. So stay tuned.
