In addition to launching the Honor 20s, the Huawei mobile's subsidiary Honor has also officialized another amazing handset in china that, by the way, can get a lot of attention from those looking for a cost-effective mid-range smartphone.
We are talking about the Honor Play 3, as major highlights, the handset brings a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor and a massive 4000 mAh battery at an entry-level price tag.
Speaking of technical specifications, the model has a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1560 x 720). Instead of a notch, the manufacturer opted for a punch-hole in the screen just like the Honor 20s, which is located in the upper left corner. the handset manages to deliver a whopping 90% of screen to body ratio.
Starting with the cameras, we have an 8-megapixel selfie snapper on the front and three cameras on the back consisting of 48 megapixels (f / 1.8), 8 megapixels (ultra-wide with 120 degrees of field of view) and another 2 MP depth sensor for blur control.
On the inside, the Honor Play 3 features a Kirin 710F processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The basic model comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, Other two variants include a 6GB/64GB variant and a 4G/128GB variant - all featuring a MicroSD slot for memory expansion.
In terms of battery, the handset supports fast-charging of only up to 10W despite having a large capacity of 4000 mAh. The device requires 2 and a half hours of charging to go from 0 to 100% through the micro-USB port. Another claim is the resistance to water and dust (although, on paper, it only brings IP5X certification).
The Honor Play 3 entry-level model with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage hits the Chinese stores for ¥ 1000 or approximately 22,000 Pakistani rupees, without taxes. The 6GB/64 GB and 4GB/128 GB variants both cost ¥ 1300 or about 28,000 PKR. It will initially be offered in Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Charm Red colors. We are hoping the handset to be launched soon in Pakistan as an upgrade to the already available honor play, launched in early 2018.
