The follow up to Honor’s recent flagship release, the X10, is already in the works. the company announced earlier today that it would be unveiling the Honor X10 Max in its domestic market on July 2 at attractive Huawei price. Following the announcement, a source based in China published the alleged specifications for this upcoming ‘Max’ edition.

The Honor X10 Max is reported to feature a massive 7.09” screen that delivers an FHD+ resolution and has a notch stretching into it — albeit it remains to be seen if it’ll be an OLED or LCD panel. True to its moniker, the X10 Max has a hefty profile: it’s 8.9mm thick and weighs 227g.

Honor has kitted it out with a 48MP main camera on the rear, and a more modest 8MP sensor on the front. The exact number of cameras has yet to reveal itself, but the leaks point to a MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G chipset powering the X10 Max. The internal hardware is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. Honor will be shipping it with the latest Android10-based Magic UI 3.1.1.

Barring the still-recent Tecno Spark 2, the X10 Max would be the most affordable 5G-enabled 7”+ phablet on the market. Rumors have suggested a ‘Pro’ edition for the X10 as well, which could go official alongside the X10 Max in July.
