There’s a teaser spree going on as we talk, and Honor has announced that the next X60 series will come out on October 16 in China. They shared a few posters with the time and date of launch, there is nothing strange about that, but it’s odd to find X50s sales figures on Honor X60 teasers.
It was in July 2023 when X50 made it out, and from then until now, they’ve sold over 15 million units. One poster even says that in 15 months, they sold one unit every 2.7 seconds on average, and that’s no small feat, seeing that the market they mostly operate in is China.
These teasers did build the context for X60's “potential” success, but there’s nothing official yet about any specs or features. That’s where the leak-ville comes in with a report that ratted out almost everything about a phone called Honor X60.
It’s probably the vanilla version and that report says it’s an AMOLED model at 6.8” and there’s a chance that a Dimensity 7025 chip runs it. That panel on the Honor new premium phone is 120Hz and FHD+ and everything comes together as a solid middle league phone.
We learn that this Dimensity engine will have support from not only 12 GB physical but also 12 GB virtual memory, and a 5800mAh cell will wire in to power up the Honor X60. Its charging cap may be at 35W, and also, rumors advise that the X60 scored an 8 MP selfie unit, and probably a 108 MP camera on the back.
