After the roaring success of Huawei P30 Pro and its "super camera" with 10x optical zoom, all ayes are now turning to the upcoming Mate lineup. As usual, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to arrive with even more powerful specs and a better camera than the P30 Series.
Expected to hit the markets this October, the smartphone specifications are still a mystery and have not yet appeared on any reliable leak. The design, on the other hand, is not a secret anymore, at least not the back. A leaked image of a glass back panel for Mate 30 pro has just surfaced, revealing the back design with a quad camera setup.
The circular camera design looks far more appealing than square-shaped camera housing on its predecessor, the Huawei Mate 20 pro. as far as the back is concerned, the picture leaves nothing to the imagination, even the Huawei and Leica branding can also be seen.
A tech enthusiast took the above leak to the next level and photoshopped a render based on the leaked back panel image. Though the render is not real, it was conceived to shows us the possible final design of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The branding and sensor alignment depicted on the photoshopped render below, might not correspond to the final product.
Still, we can see the potential of round camera design. The sensors aligned inside the circle offer a far more appealing visual impact. As previously rumored, the flagship Huawei Mate 30 Pro is scheduled for the fall and is expected to be equipped with a Quad-camera, 7nm Kirin 985 chipset and a huge AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is also said to be powered by a 4200mAh battery that will also support wireless charging. It's still too early say anything but by observing the previous patterns, Huawei Mate 30 Pro is more likely to come with the best camera of the time to grab that first place in the DxOMark ranking.
