Huawei has been flooding the market by reintroducing its models from 2019. And to keep this train going, the Chinese tech giant has now renamed the Enjoy 10s as P Smart S and launched it for the European market at a mid-range Huawei price tag. While most rebranded releases are shipped with Google Mobile Services, the Huawei P Smart S only supports the Huawei AppGallery.
First things first, let’s start with the Huawei P Smart S design. If you’re already familiar with the Enjoy 10s, there’s nothing new under the sun. You get a sleek, polished rear-shell that’s iridescent when viewed from different angles.
Available in the Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black editions, the color options are also identical to the Enjoy 10s mentioned earlier. A pill-shaped camera housing featuring a triple-camera setup rests in the top-left corner of the device.
Go around the P Smart S's front to find a notched OLED panel and an in-display fingerprint scanner hidden underneath. The 6.3” screen has a high 20:9 aspect ratio and delivers an FHD+ resolution. The camera inside the notch has a 16MP sensor behind it.
The rear P Smart camera uses a 48MP primary lens, a 120⁰ 8MP ultra-wide module, and a 2MP depth-assist sensor. This main camera has a wide f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support, which should translate into brilliant shots even in poorly lit scenes – which can be further enhanced with the ‘Super Night’ mode.
A Kirin 710F with its 12nm wafer handles processing, combined with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable with an NM card). The Huawei P Smart S is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, accompanied by 10W fast charging. And it boots to the Android-10-based EMUI 10.1.
The smartphone starts at €249.90 (46,000 PKR), and it’s already up for sale in European markets.
