Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro Pricing and Specifications Leaked Before Tomorrow’s Launch

The last Huawei P40 leak ahead of tomorrow’s launch is here, and it details the specification sheet and Huawei price for P40 and P40 Pro. As per Winfuture.de, the ‘Pro’ edition will debut with an OLED panel that stretches 6.58 inches across and produces a 2640×1200 resolution at a 90Hz refresh rate. By comparison, its main competitor Samsung Galaxy S20 allows for a more extreme 120Hz rate.

In the top-left corner of the Huawei P40 Pro, you’ll find a wide cutout housing for the phone’s 32MP selfie camera, depth-assist, and face unlock sensors. The display melts into the edges and is surrounded by razor-thin bezels all around.

An oversized camera bump rests in a corner, featuring a multiple-camera setup. The primary camera has a 50MP lens behind it. This ‘UltraVision’ camera is AI-assisted, and it supports OIS and ‘Octa Phase Detection’ for better autofocus. A feature allows it to capture a series of shots in 1.7 seconds and intelligently picks the perfect one.

Next to the primary camera is a video-centric 40MP sensor that lets you shoot in 4K. There’s also a 12MP telephoto camera and a pair of depth and macro units. The entire ensemble produces 50x hybrid zooming, which Huawei is calling the ‘SuperSensing Zoom.’ The P40 Pro is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging.

The standard Huawei P40 edition shows off a slightly smaller, 6.1-inch AMOLED display that delivers an FHD+ resolution (at what we expect to be a 60Hz refresh rate). It has a narrower pill-style cutout since it doesn’t house a 3D face unlock sensor.

Around the back, you’re looking at a triple-camera, that includes a 50MP primary shooter, combined with a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto module.

The battery capacity is even smaller — a 3,800 mAh cell with support for only 22.5W fast charging. The fast charging tech is carried over from last year’s P30, and there’s no dust and water resistance either.

The duo runs on Kirin 990 with out-of-the-box Android 10 that lacks Google Apps. A far as the Huawei Prices are concerned, the report claims that The Pro variant will be priced around 999 Euros or some 170,000 Pakistan rupees while the standard Huawei P40 will retail for 799 EUR or approximately 137,000 PKR without taxes.
