The Huawei Y9 family keeps growing as the tech manufacturer introduces the Huawei Y9a for international markets. It’s a slightly redesigned but ultimately rebadged version of the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus. You can pre-order the phone in Pakistan starting from September 14.

The glass sandwich unibody build — found across the board in the Y9 series — makes a return. Huawei has chamfered and beveled the edges smooth. The frame of Huawei Y9a has a metallic finish to it while the back presents a clean, minimalistic look.

An oversized jet black camera island occupies almost the entire top half, bound inside a chrome ring. Inside the housing, four cameras are laid out in a matrix. The Y9a comes in Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Black — three half-tone gradients ranging from elegant and somber to vivid and bubbly.

Another design choice that stands out is the uninterrupted display of Y9a by Huawei. While most manufacturers have abandoned pop-up cameras, the Y9 lineup retains it. By mounting the front camera on a motorized pop-up system, the panel is not only freed of an unsightly notch or a hole, but the screen-to-body ratio also reaches a tremendous 92%. As for the specs, it’s a 6.63” FHD+ IPS LCD screen, rounded off by a 16MP front camera. All in all a valuable addition to the Huawei price list

The four-camera array on the back of the Huawei Y9a is powered by a 64MP main camera, a pair of 2MP depth-mapping and macro sensors, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. You can expect detailed, high-def shots from the primary camera and stretch the Field-of-Vision by 120° thanks to the ultra-wide camera.

Huawei has augmented Y9a's optics with a dedicated ‘Night Mode’ and EIS (or Electronic Image Stabilization). The internal hardware doesn’t stand out but it’s your typical upper-mid-range configuration. MediaTek’s Helio G80 processor is at the heart of the device, running on a 4,200 mAh battery that’s recharged with 40W SuperCharge — advertised to fill your battery to 70% in only 30 minutes.

Combined with the chip is 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage. The EMUI 10.1 onboard doesn’t have Google’s ecosystem, leaving you with Huawei’s AppGallery and HMS. The official Price of Huawei Y9a has not been revealed yet but the Pre-orders are announced to be starting from 14th September & you'll also receive free gifts worth up to Rs.8000/-.
