The Infinix GT 20 Pro is slated for its official release on May 2nd. It got featured in a string of leaks before and the trend continues as more renders and specifications pop up ahead of the upcoming global launch (starting in Middle Eastern and Asian markets). They showcase the GT 20 Pro in three colors from several angles.
Paras Guglani, a popular phone leaker, published the images in his recent blog post. The Infinix GT 20 Pro design is based on the Mecha art and comes with Mecha Silver, Mecha Blue, and Mecha Orange colors. You’ll find that the shell has a flat profile with a smooth glass finish. On the frame, there’s a power button and volume rocker on the side.
Three lenses are encased in a squared camera plate popping out of its rear panel. Flip the Infinix GT 20 Pro over to find a flat display with a hole punched through its top center. It’s a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, drawing a full HD resolution, a snappy 144Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint reader.
Apart from the main SoC, the GT 20 Pro is locked in for a Pixelworks X5 Turbo chip. It will work alongside the primary engine to streamline the visual processing. Additionally, the Infinix new GT model gets JBL tuned speakers, an IP54 rating for dust and water protection and the chassis measures 8.15mm in depth.
At its heart, the Infinix GT 20 Pro has a custom AI boosted MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. It is a top-shelf MediaTek silicon built on a 4nm process. The chip is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that fast charges over blazing-fast 45W technology.
Fans can expect 256GB of fast storage and 8GB/12GB of memory. The Infinix GT 20 Pro is expected to join the Infinix price list soon, starting around USD 270 (~PKR 75,000). Even though the phone's launch in our local market is unsure, we are still optimistic.
