Infinix GT 30 Pro Gets IMEI Certified, Taking First Step Towards Global Release

Infinix isn’t sitting idle while other brands keep flooding the market with new phones every other day. We hear Infinix GT 30 Pro is in R&D, and the IMEI database has mentioned it by name in one of its very new listings. So, believe it when we say the premium gamer handset is coming soon.

Just as it happened last year, GT 30 Pro will land across many global markets, and thanks to the IMEI listing, we know what its model number is supposed to be. IMEI database identified this new GT 30 Pro as X6873, so if you find this model number anywhere on the web from here on out, you will know what Infinix device this is.

Sadly, we hit a bump gathering its info since the certification has no meaningful details about the hardware, and it is way too early for the rumor mill to spill its secrets. But if this newbie is anything like the old GT 20 Pro from 2024, it will be a big hit among fans, hands-down.

The GT 20 Pro, part of the latest Infinix GT mobiles series, had a Mech design and a 6.78” AMOLED. Believe it or not, the phone peaked at a 144Hz refresh rate with a 1080p resolution. That’s something only legit gaming phones have. Unbelievable at its price. PWM 2304Hz dimming helped it be strainless on your eyes in the dark. But it lit up with 1300 nits of brightness in the day.

Gaming phones need the best cooling solution and high touch sampling. GT 20 Pro is good for both with a 360Hz rate and a 70% larger VC chamber than GT 10. Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip is the brains behind GT 20 Pro’s performance. Also, you get a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo display chip with it.

The software Infinix GT 20 Pro ran was XOS GT x Android 14. It carried NFC support on board and an IR blaster. Infinix even gave this device a 108 MP camera and 32 MP selfie, even though its target audience was gamers. 45W fast charging gave backup to its 5000mAh cell, which is pretty ordinary among Infinix phones.

GT 20 Pro also landed in Pakistan, and its price was Rs 99,999 at that time. If the GT 30 Pro builds up on these specs and keeps its price tag the same, the gamers among us might line up to buy this phone.
