Infinix GT 30 Pro Leak Hints at Powerful Specs & Shoulder Triggers for Gaming

Infinix plans to continue with its GT series now that the Note 50 series has been unveiled. From what we’ve gathered, the company’s gaming lineup will be updated soon with a fresh-baked gaming phone called the Infinix GT 30 Pro, and we found its details in a preliminary leak.

The info has been leaked by multiple sources and points out the exact specifications for the Infinix GT 30 Pro. Those sources claim that it has a 6.78” AMOLED with 1.5k resolution. We can expect a pixel count of around 1224 x 2720p with a 144Hz refresh rate, and there’s a new chipset in tow as well.

GT 30 Pro will be one of the only few devices to have a Dimensity 8350-Ultimate engine, and this will be fine-tuned for gaming. This chipset will push the storage speed to UFS 4.0 and RAM clocks to LPDDR5X. As the leak pointed out, GT 30 Pro might drop with at least 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, or a maximum of 12 GB RAM with 512 GB storage. Of course, the choice will be up to the user.

Since the Note 50 series already unveiled the XOS 15 x Android 15 UI, you can count on GT 30 to do the same, but the UI and features will be tuned for gaming. If this leak pans out, we may finally have shoulder L1 and R1 triggers on this device, turning it into a gaming phone, not just in aesthetics but also in functions.  Infinix phones price will likely make it an attractive option for budget-conscious gamers.

From what the leaks advise, these shoulder triggers might even have shortcut functions for other applications, but let’s not color our opinions just yet. GT 30 Pro might even have a 67W fast charging, which is a considerable upgrade over GT 20 Pro’s 45W input. This newcomer even has a bigger 5500mAh battery.

Even though cameras are not the main focus for gaming phones, Infinix might be planning to use a 108 MP main camera on this new GT model and stick a 13 MP selfie unit on the front. There are also expectations for an 8 MP ultrawide unit on its back. The old GT 20 Pro by Infinx debuted in April last year, so expect the GT 30 Pro to arrive in the same month this year.
