The "Gaming on a budget" trend grows ever-more popular on the smartphone scene with manufacturers rolling out performance-focused entry-level devices, often powered by MediaTek’s new gaming-centric G-series silicon. It continues with the Infinix Hot 10 which is coming to Pakistan soon, as per our local sources.
The Infinix Hot 9 successor and the newest Hot series entry from the budget-sensitive Infinix brand have previously been leaked but the first ‘almost official’ leak comes in the form of a promotional poster, detailing the phone’s processor and design.
The Hot 10 has the MediaTek Helio G70 processor at its heart, optimized for gaming — featuring smooth HyperEngine performance through intelligent GPU allocation and faster response times when you’re gaming.
Based on previous Infinix Hot 10 reports, the G70 will be rounded off by 4 GB of RAM and a 5,100 mAh battery (the fast-charging capacity onboard, if any, remains unknown). The storage could go up to 64GB. More to the point, however, the standard Hot 10 might be joined by a more robust ‘Pro’ edition since a couple of certification listings point to a second model as well, both the variants will prove to be valuable additions to the Infinix price lists.
The Infinix Hot 10 design is generic: a pin-hole on the front and a squarish camera island on the back with four cameras in an inverted L-shaped layout. There’s a plastic back with a capacitive fingerprint reader in the middle and a glossy textured sheen. Speculation suggests that the quad-camera uses a 16MP main camera while the selfie camera has an 8MP sensor behind it.
The dimensions for the Infinix screen are anyone’s guess but it produces an HD+ resolution. The Hot 10 will have three variants based on RAM and storage, WhatMobile expects the phone to start from Rs. 18,999 and all the way up to 25,000 rupees.
