The Hot 10 Play just made its debut in Pakistan. It’s the third addition to the entry-level Hot 10 lineup, which already features Infinix Hot 10 and Hot 10 Lite. The Play edition packs a massive battery, huge screen, and fingerprint support on a budget.
The 6000 mAh battery inside the Infinix Hot 10 Play is advertised to offer up to 55 days on standby and 13.8 hours of gameplay. When you’re down to 5%, the power-saving modes can stretch the battery life by 2.7 hours.
Combine the software power management, with the low-powered 720P screen and chip, and you can easily get two-day battery life out of a single charge.
The Infinix Hot 10 Play screen is an unwieldy 6.82”, and it fills up a tall 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Underneath it lies a simple IPS LCD, without any tough glass to protect it.
A simple teardrop notch bleeds into the front panel. It’s used to house the 8MP front camera. The 13MP rear-facing camera has a wide f/1.8 lens that works with an ‘AI Lens’ to enhance portraits. This camera setup is held in a squarish bump that sticks out the Hot 10 Play’s plastic shell. Overall it's an entry-level addition to the Infinix price list.
Next to the camera island, we have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner (the layout has become rare since most manufacturers are mounting it on the side). Hot 10 Play comes in four color options — blue, cyan, jet black, and lavender.
MediaTek Helio G25 (the cheapest chipset the company makes) and the Android10-based XOS 7 power the phone. it’s shipped with 2GB of memory and 32GB of expandable internal storage. Infinix Hot 10 Play starts from Rs. 16,999. It’s up for pre-ordering until January 24. And with each pre-order, Infinix is throwing in free TWS earbuds.
