Infinix is soon rehashing the budget-friendly Hot 11 from last year. Once the Hot 11 2022 edition comes out, the manufacturer will move on to the next generation of their popular Hot series. The upcoming Infinix Hot 12 lineup is already in the works. And the first Hot 12 model could roll out in Q2 of 2022.
Sources inform WhatMobile that Infinix plans to drop the Infinix Hot 12 and Hot 12i in Pakistan before we enter Q3 of 2022. Typically, the Hot Play edition of the series launches early in the year. And other models — the standard Hot and Hot ‘i’ — follow later in the Fall.
Right now, the details of these phones are a mystery. We should learn more in the coming weeks when Infinix begins to collect certifications for the Hot 12 series. But rumor has it that Infinix is revamping the Hot 12 series with 5G.
In related news, Infinix also has their first 5G lined up for launch soon. Dubbed Zero 5G, this phone has already been leaked in photos. The specs were also uncovered. Sources indicated that it should land in Pakistan this quarter.
The Infinix Zero 5G design is heavily inspired by last year’s Oppo Find X3 series. We’re looking at an almost identical camera bump carved out from the surrounding casing. It sticks out, holding a matrix of three lenses and two LED flash modules. The display has a centered hole punch. It comes in at least one emerald green shade based on leaked photos.
No word on the Infinix mobile price yet. The camera cluster reportedly features one 48MP wide-angle, one telephoto, and one ultra-wide-angle shooter. In addition, we find a 16MP camera housed inside the O-hole cutout. The screen surrounding it is 6.7” 1080P AMOLED, peaking at a 120Hz refresh rate.
It’s all powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 and a 5000 mAh battery. You get support for storage expansion and 33W charging. Eight gigs of memory and 128GB of internal storage round off the internal hardware.
