Infinix's budget range catalog offers a variety of phones that provide extra value for your money. Among them are the brand's recently launched Infinix Hot 12 Play and the Hot 12. Despite being a lower-mid-tier smartphone, the Hot 12 delivers near-premium performance for a meager price.

Multitasking on the Infinix Hot 12 is seamless, thanks to the lightweight XOS UI, outstanding RAM management, and MediaTek octa-core chipset, which we will discuss in a minute. Besides that, the phone is a steal in terms of battery life, refresh rate, screen size, and camera. Let's take a look.

The screen upfront is the best bit about Hot 12. It's a giant 6.82-inch screen, an IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate (a rarely seen combo in low-cost smartphones). The display supports HD+ (720 x 1640p) resolution packed at 263PPI.

Another Hot 12 highlight is the storage and RAM capacity. The phone rocks a solid 128GB storage and pairs it with 6GB memory. For a smooth sail, while opening multiple apps, the UI incorporates a virtual RAM expansion of up to 5GB. The storage can extend via SD card too.

Under the hood, Hot 12 has a high-performance MediaTek Helio G85 chipset — it's an octa-core SoC clocking at 2.0GHz. Integrated with Mali-G52 GPU, it delivers excellent graphic performance. The budget star of the Infinix rate list runs Android 12 x XOS 10.6 right out of the box.

The camera platform is decent enough. Triple-silo setup features 13MP primary camera assisted by the 2MP & QVGA auxiliary sensors. There's a 5MP selfie shooter in the punch hole cutout upfront — a form factor that no brand will give you at this price point.

Lastly, the powerhouse inside Hot 12 is a behemoth 6000mAh battery capable of topping up at an 18-Watt charging rate. With a sweet price tag of 32,999 PKR, Infinix Hot 12 is a bargain.
