Infinix fans always wait for a new Hot series device to hit the market. This specific lineup brings incredible value at a low price. We witnessed the popularity of the recent Infinix Hot 12 series, which is getting replaced by the successor, Hot 20 5G. As per the leakster Mukul Sharma, the Hot 20 5G has been approved by the Bluetooth SIG site, bagging the model number X666.
The Infinix Hot 20 5G will bring significant improvements over its predecessor; however, the information regarding the internals is still scarce. The biggest difference would be in the connectivity department, as the Hot 20 will support 5G bands, unlike the 4G-only Hot 12.
The Hot 12 on the other hand is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) SoC and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. Users can enjoy up to 6BG/128GB storage configurations and XOS 12.6 based upon Android 12.
A gigantic 6.82 inches HD+ IPS LCD provides an immersive experience with a 90 Hz refresh rate. On the rear side, a sturdy polycarbonate shell holds the Hot 12’s three camera lenses. The primary camera is 13MP with an f/1.8 aperture, assisted by a 2MP and a tertiary QVGA sensor.
A rather large central punch-hole cutout occupies the 8MP front camera for selfies and video conferencing. The powerhouse inside the Infinix Hot 12 is a 5,000 mAh cell supporting 18W of Quick charging. A stereo speaker setup, dedicated MicroSD slot, and a side-mounted thumbprint scanner also enhance the user experience.
The Hot 12 is available in Legend White, Origin Blue, Lucky Green, and Racing Black finishes with an Infinix smartphone price tag of Rs. 28,999 in Pakistan. The Hot 20 5G is expected to arrive with a small price jump if compare to the Hot 12 but the smartphone is still said to target the budget 5G smartphone market.
