The sequel to the Infinix Hot 12 collection supports 5G for the first time. The brand has unveiled a new model branded as the Hot 20 5G. As the name implies, this model bares a 5G-enabled chipset under the hood. Furthermore, it has a highly competitive hardware manifest.
In addition to being the first-ever 5G phone from the Hot series, Infinix Hot 20 is also the first to carry a 120Hz refresh rate on a 1080p FHD+ IPS panel. The screen spans 6.6-inch diagonally and supports 240Hz touch sampling rate for responsive UI operations.
As mentioned, the phone runs using a 5G-enabled core. According to the manifest, it's MediaTek Dimesity 810 Chipset. The processor is super efficient based on a 6nm fab and performs operations at a max 2.4GHz clock speed. As expected, the phone runs Android 12 x XOS 10.6 UI right out of the box.
The design is about what you would expect from a new Hot Infinix mobile, a plastic glass sandwich with vertical stripes texture on the backplate and a slightly raised camera platform. There are two back-mounted cameras, one of which is a 50MP (Samsung JN1) sensor, and the other is an auxiliary lens.
Hot 20 5G has a water-drop notch enclosing an 8MP selfie camera. Extra photography features include super-night mode with filters, portraits, short video mode, and eye autofocus. Its chassis stores a 5000mAh cell topped off with an 18W power adapter.
The phone aligns 4GB RAM with 128GB built-in storage. The storage is expandable thanks to the dedicated MicroSD card slot. On top of that, Hot 20 has an extra 3GB of virtual RAM baked into the UI for better multitasking. Skinned in three soft shades of Racing Black, Space Blue, and Blaster Green, the phone is out with a 179 Euro price tag, translating to almost 39,000 PKR.
