Another Hot 20 sibling and entry-range contender by Infinix goes official. In collaboration with Free Fire, a phone titled "Infinix Hot 20S" appeared on the brand's Thailand-based official link yesterday, revealing the design color options, hardware, software, and camera details. Let's dive in to see what this phone packs inside.
There's a premium-gaming core under Hot 20s' deck. According to the manifest, it's MediaTek Helio G96 Chipset. The processor on the new Infinix Hot 12's successor is super efficient based on a 12nm fab and performs operations at a max 2.05 GHz clock speed. As expected, the phone runs Android 12 x XOS 10.6 UI right out of the box.
On the top, the phone has a flat 120Hz IPS display, with a 6.78-inch size and a Full HD+ 1080p resolution. The brand advertises it as a HyperVision Gaming-Pro Display with a Variable Refresh Rate. There's a punch-hole camera on the screen concealing an 8MP selfie shooter.
On the back of the Infinix new Hot model are three discrete camera silos. The top one houses the primary 50MP sensor; the two lenses under it are 2MP + 2MP auxiliary units. There's no camera hump, just circular lenses stocking directly out of the shell coated in sonic black, tempo blue, fantasy purple, and light-rider white colors.
Hot 20S brings 128GB of storage space and 8GB of physical memory. The storage is expandable thanks to the dedicated MicroSD card slot. On top of that, the device has an extra 5GB of virtual RAM baked into the UI for better multitasking.
The package hooks up to a 5000mAh battery rated for 18W fast charging. The phone has battery enhancement features operating in sync with its default Android 12 Operating system. The newcomer is only 8.47mm thick and weighs 202 grams. Its Thailand price is TBH 5199, which converts to almost 30,500 PKR.
