Infinix Hot 30 Catalog Goes Official with Four Devices; Hot 30, Hot 30 Free Fire, Hot 30i & 30i NFC

Infinix Hot 30 Series is out to rule multiple segments in the global smartphone market. The company has unveiled four new models in an overseas market, two of which are feature phones going by the monikers Infinix Hot 30i, Hot 30 Free Fire, Hot 30, and Hot 30i NFC. The newcomers stem from the same entry-level family. Here's an in-depth look into their specs.


Infinix Hot 30

Unlike a host of Infinix's previous Hot smartphones, the new HOT 30 boasts 1080p Full HD+ resolution. The screen size is massive at 6.78 inches with a refresh rate clocked at 90Hz. Additionally, it boasts a 270Hz touch sampling rate and 580 nits of peak brightness thanks to an improved IPS panel.


Under the helm, Hot 30 has Helio G88 SoC which pairs with an over-the-top memory hub, 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM, with expandable storage. Lighting its hardware is a 5000mAh cell rated for up to 33W charging speed. 

Camera stats on Hot 30 are solid for its price. The primary shooter is 50MP coupled with an auxiliary unit, while the front shooter packs an 8MP sensor for selfies. It has all the essential features; 4G connectivity, dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and straight out-of-the-box Android 13 OS. 

Infinix Hot 30 Free Fire

Now for the feature phone, Hot 30 Free Fire, It's essentially the same handset, though it packs a lot of Free Fire branded accessories inside the box. Users will receive a Free Fire-themed key ring, a case, and a Free Fire medal as a SIM ejection tool with the new Hot Infinix mobile


The custom UI on the phone includes up to 46 Free Fire-accented widgets and icons, coupled with some wallpapers and sounds. Additionally, the phone has an AR function in the camera that lets you slap on masks of In-game characters for selfies.


While the specs on this phone are identical to the original Hot 30, it promises 60FPS gameplay at a high-quality setting in Free fire. They also share design and skin tones, Racing Black, Surfing Green, and Sonic White. 

Infinix Hot 30i & Hot 30i NFC

At the bottom of the Hot 30 series ladder, users will find Hot 30i and Hot 30i NFC. To point out the apparent difference, the latter includes an NFC module giving users convenient access to NFC-based contactless payments. Aside from that, both handsets are identical in specs or otherwise.


Hot 30i pair flexes an IPS screen with a drop notch melting inside. The panel size is 6.56 inches, densely packed with 720x1612 pixels, and clocked at a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the screen goes as bright as 500 nits and samples touch rates at 180Hz. 


The Hot 30i duo has a Unisoc engine running the system running the Android 12 OS. Its 4GB + 128GB memory hub draws power from a 5000mAh cell. In that area, the Hot 30i NFC seems to be more impressive as it features 8GB of physical RAM.

Hot 30i and 30i NFC camera systems leave a lot to desire. The primary shooter is only 13MP, while the front shooter has an 8MP sensor under the notch. With their Type-C hubs, they can charge at 18W. Moreover, they have side-facing Biometrics and 3.5mm audio ports.
