Infinix Hot 50 4G Debuts with Helio G100 Chip, 120Hz Display, and Exciting AI Features

There was a leak before that foreshadowed how Infinix Hot 50 4G would break the status quo and go for a much better engine, it might even wield a quicker display than the old Hot 40. You can now be sure that the leak was right on the money because this Hot 50 4G has come out and it’s 120Hz and uses Helio G100 to put down way faster performance.

Helio G100 and all other chips from that class have only ever made it to Infinix Note or Zero lines, and it was refreshing to see Hot 40 Pro last year with Helio G99. But now even the vanilla Hot 50 has the same kind of chip called Helio G100 and we love it. That’s pushing it into the Pro territory.

Because the SoC is faster, they even gave the Hot 50 4G a 120Hz 6.78” 1080p IPS screen that does 800 nits peak brightness. These things are not what we usually see in Hot 50’s class, but this one has upranked by miles here. Of course, this one’s also IP54-rated water-touch and low blue light.

It’s only a typical 50 MP shooter that they hid in the rear panel of Infinix's latest 4G handset, they didn’t even specify what the other lenses are, but at least they were up and front about its 8 MP selfie. We qualify this camera as lackluster at best.

There’s a 5000mAh battery in a chassis of 7.7mm profile only, so that’s another area where they perfected it. Then, we have an 18W charging against that standard-size power source. Its XOS 14.5 UI has some AI stuff built in. An 8/256 GB option of the Hot 50 4G is ~$165 (~PKR 46,000) but there is another 6/128GB cheaper version of it.
