Helio G100 is from the class of SoCs that Infinix only uses for its high-tier phones, and the base Hot models have never been one of them. So we counted on the Infinix Hot 50 4G to be a cutback lite performer like the others before it, but there’s a chance it may break the status quo if these leaks pan out.
Solid leads into Hot 50 4G specs claim that this phone will have a Helio G100 chip built into it, and if that is true, we are about to see an evolution in performance. Helio G100 means that Hot 50 4G may have pushed itself by one more rank in Infinix’s Hot roster.
Let’s put it into context so you can understand how they usually categorize these phones and why this is a big deal. Last time, the old vanilla Hot 40 got a Helio G88, but the Hot 40 Pro was the one using Helio G99. This report by PassionateGeekz says it will be the first time a vanilla Hot 50 has a chip like Helio G100.
All the design elements you see in these leaked Hot 40 4G renders, all of them are familiar we have already seen them when Infinix debuted Hot 50 5G a few days ago. Square lenses and a flat boxy design seem all too familiar with a vertical camera module, and the leaker says it’s also a 6.78” IPS with 120Hz refresh.
Dimensity 6300+ and Helio G100 are very close in performance, so it makes sense that they are built into Hot 50 5G and Hot 50 4G as they parallel each other in the segment. Also, the leaker said there will be a 5000mAh cell here plus a 50 MP camera unit in command of its optics.
