Infinix Hot 50 5G Preview Ahead of Launch; Design, Specs, and Pricing Disclosed

We reported the Infinix Hot 50 5G launch date about a week ago, picked up a few details from the official site, and reviewed it. That early report had some features and specs. But now, the official price and colors also show up right on the heels of its debut, and we're here to share them.

September 5th is the day slated for Hot 50 5G debut in India, from where the cycle of worldwide deployment will begin. Blue, Green, and Dark Grey are the color trio they want to feature with this phone. Their 'Hot' devices have always been chunky. But not this one.

Hot 50 5G is very slim with a svelte 7.8mm profile. They've added an IP54 rating here and a feature called 'Wet Touch' that will register your touch even if there is water on the screen. Also, there is a TUV SUD verified 60-month fluency protection rating.

A leaker on X pointed out that there's a Dimensity 6300 engine the Infinix 5G Hot model puts to work. 4 GB or 8 GB RAM options and about 128 GB ROM to go with it. Plus, there's talk of a possible 48 MP camera at the back of this phone.

We've seen many handsets that bring Dimensity 6300 but cost way more, sometimes even in $200s. This phone will keep the price under $120 (~PKR 33,000). It could be the price of its base option, but we can't deny it will be one of the cheapest 5G phones to come out.
