The day we’ve been waiting for has finally come, the Hot 50 Pro and Hot 50 Pro Plus are now up for retail in our local market and they bring everything that was promised and then some, all at a very reasonable price. You can purchase the Pro in 128 GB and the Pro Plus in 256 GB storage options.

Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus

It’s the very same phone they’ve teased time and time again as the world’s thinnest slim-edge build because it only measures 6.8mm — a record number for a phone in this niche. You cannot find another device like this in such a price range.

Their main focus for Hot 50 Pro Plus was to keep it as thin as possible. But it’s just as good from within as they used a Helio G100 SoC for it. So, there’s plenty of raw power here, and the same chip helped them get a 5-year fluency rating from TUV SUD.

Pull it out of the box and you’ll see Android 14 here by default. But down the road, it will get you one major update to Android 15, nothing more. Still, that’s to be expected from an entry-tier phone like this.

That screen is a 6.78” AMOLED 120Hz 1080p resolution panel that pushes itself to around 1300 nits top brightness. It’s durable due to Gorilla Glass and even gives you an Always-on-Display. 2160Hz PWM dimming, 100% DCI-p3 color gamut, and Blue light Eye protection are some of the other things they proudly boast about this screen.

The Wet Touch combo with an IP54 rating should keep it running even when it's pouring down. Also, we see a whole suite of Infinix AI ∞ options to help its 50MP main camera photos. You also get a 5000mAh cell here tied to a 33W charging kit. Surprisingly, that 8/256 GB Hot 50 Pro+ variant only costs Rs 57,999 at retail.

Infinix Hot 50 Pro

This is also an AMOLED 6.78” phone, but it neither has curves nor the slimmest design in the world, and all you get is a flat 7.4mm build. If not put against Pro Plus, it still trades blows with some of the best Oppo and Vivo mid-rangers. It’s a 120Hz 1800 nits brightness panel at 1080p.

There’s a 50 MP main unit for its camera + 2 MP depth mapper + 8 MP selfie shooter. They secured an IP54 rating for it, and this slim build has a 5000mAh battery and 33W charging kit inside. This one also has all the Infinix AI options built into an Android 14 XOS 14.5 system.

They also used the same Helio G100 engine for the Hot 50 Pro, as they did with the Pro Plus, so there shouldn’t be much disparity on the performance side. These models also share the same under-display fingerprint ID and stereo speakers. Rs 44,999 is the official price tag for Hot 50 Pro, but remember it’s only for the 8/128 GB option.
