Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus Teased as the Slimmest Modern Phone in the World

There was a trend in the past for slimmer and slimmer handsets that faded away over time. Most modern phones in our pockets now are about 8mm thick on average, and people have become accustomed to it because we wanted bigger screens and more utility over everything else. But Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus is turning back the clock, by the looks of it.

They say the Hot 50 Pro Plus could be the slimmest modern-form handset about to hit the stage after 2014’s Vivo X5 Max. And only 6.8mm thickness for a full-screen AMOLED phone like this, is not a common ordeal, it’s probably a record breaker.

Some teasers are already floating on the interwebs where it says that the Infinix new flagship handset is a Helio G100 5-year fluency-certified phone by TUV, and there’s even a claim about its world’s slimmest 6.8mm design. They even layered a Gorilla Glass on it.

AMOLED 120Hz used here is curved on both sides and it’s something that has become a common theme for Infinix these days. Some of their phones have AMOLED even in the entry-level ranges, and credit where the credit’s due, Infinix is truly brave for doing this.

We also see in the teaser that Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus is at least 8 GB + 256 GB on the storage side, 16 GB if you count the virtual memory, and they used a fingerprint ID on the front panel. No other details were mentioned in this teaser, but there is a clue that its debut has to happen in the Philippines.
