The value-focused phone maker Infinix just broke into the laptop market with their brand new INBook series. And the notebook lineup, featuring Infinix INBook X1 Pro and INBook X1, is soon coming to Pakistan. Reliable inside sources report everything we need to know.
Infinix’s first laptop goes above and beyond in build and design quality — following the high-value standard the brand has already set with their smartphones. Infinix INBook X1 Pro sports a sleek, lightweight casing crafted from metal. The aluminum body has a sandblasted finish, offered in Noble Red, Elves Green, Starfall Grey, and Elegant Black. At 1.48g of weight and 16.3mm of thickness, its dimensions compete with mid-range ultrabooks.
The screen is a 14” IPS LCD made by BOE. It’s surrounded by narrow side bezels and a hefty chin. The 1080P display has a decent contrast ratio for a budget laptop, hits 300 nits of peak brightness (so it won’t perform too well under sunlight), and uses an sRGB color space to produce a wider gamut. The INBook X1 Pro can also be tilted to an extreme 180 degrees.
Infinix promises up to 13 hours of web surfing out of a single charge. Smart power management tweaks extend that life even further. When you’re running low, the 55Wh battery inside the X1 Pro is charged over the 65W USB-C adapter. It delivers a 70% top-up within just an hour.
Intel Core i-series powers the INBook X1 Pro, available in Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 variants. You get 8GB/16GB of memory and 256GB/512GB of SSD storage. Windows 10 and Office 365 come preloaded with the laptop.
For seamless connectivity, the INBook X1 Pro has no lack of ports. Counting the charging interface, there are five ports in total found on the right side — a microSD reader, a 3.5 mm audio jack, USB-A 2.0 and 3.0, HDMI, and to ensure privacy, a physical switch for the front camera.
