Infinix’s Note 11 family, which already features the Note 11 and Note 11 Pro, continues to grow. Infinix Note 11S, the latest member of the series, just dropped in the global market. It’s not an entirely new phone, but a mild refresh of the Note 11 Pro.
For starters, the chipset inside the Infinix Note 11S is the MediaTek Helio G96. It’s the top-end LTE chip that MediaTek makes. The platform is powered by a 5000 mAh battery certified to last 800 cycles before it starts degrading. Infinix has extended the 8GB of memory to 11GB, virtually. The storage uses a fast UFS 2.2 standard.
TÜV also signed off on the 33W charging tech that goes with this battery. You can expect all-day battery life out of a single charge. Also, a graphite cooling slab keeps the phone from overheating. The vibration motor promises life-like haptic feedback.
The phone’s casing is shared with the Note 11 Pro. It’s a chamfered plate finished in Symphony Cyan, Mithril Gray, and Haze Green. Flip the new member of the Infinix price list over to find a 6.95” slim bezel display. It’s an IPS LCD that maxes out at a Full HD resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 120Hz refresh rate. Certified blue light filters built into the panel protect your eyes. But the 1500:1 contrast ratio is mediocre.
Lastly, the camera system on the Infinix Note 11S features a 50MP f/1.6 wide lens, a macro camera, and a portrait sensor. The front camera, housed inside an O-hole cutout, is 16MP.
The build includes a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-facing thumbprint reader. DTS dual speakers make for a surround-stereo experience. XOS 10 runs on the Infinix Note 11S. It starts at THB 6,999 (~ Rs. 36,000.)
