Infinix smartphone prices in Pakistan are at their forever high. They readjusted the price tags for at least two other phones today. Infinix Note 40 (8/256GB) was sitting pretty at Rs 50,000. But they decided to bump its cost to Rs 57,999. That’s an uptick of about Rs 8,000.
But wait till you hear what they did to the Infinix Note 40 Pro (12/256GB). Rs 79,999 is their new price tag for the Pro, bumped from the original Rs 70,000. They decided to stretch its price by 10,000 rupees. Read the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro specs here to see if they are still worth their salt.
Infinix Note 40 Pro
Helio G99 Ultimate is the driving force behind the Note 40 series. Both Pro and non-pro models have it. We know the Note 40 Pro goes up to 12 GB of physical RAM. And it stores about 256 GB of data. Those shall do the trick for light and power users.
Another thing Note 40 Pro excels at is the screen. 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.78” curved AMOLED FHD+ resolution are right up the alley of most flagship phones. That near-bezel-free screen is also home to a fingerprint reader. And there’s a 32 MP selfie cam in a punch hole.
108 MP camera on the back is also its primary sensor, and it does 3x in-sensor zoom for portraits. 5000mAh battery means a full day of usage. But All-round Fast Charge Tech 2.0 is what the series is all about. Note 40 Pro is at 70W wired and 20W wireless charging with MagKit.
Infinix Note 40
It covers the basics and doesn’t disrupt the hierarchy at all. 120Hz flat AMOLED at 6.78” is almost as good as the Pro. There’s a 1080p resolution and about 1300 nits of brightness. It nails the bezel uniformity. Of course, the fingerprint reader is on the screen. And so is a 32 MP selfie camera.
Helio G99 Ultimate powers it and uses 8 GB RAM to do the heavy lifting. Then there’s 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage here. The primary camera configuration for this one remains 108 MP with a 2 MP assistant and a 3rd unspecified camera. And it’s good for 1440p videos at 30 FPS.
Their non-Pro option has a 5000mAh cell as well. But this one cuts down the charging speed to 45W. Still, a 20W MagKit wireless, reverse, and reverse wired charging options are just how they are on the Pro. Everything comes together nicely with Android 14 XOS 14 as the Home screen.
