It’s the most premium offering in the entire Infinix Note 50 family. The company has officially launched the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G in the global market with some top-of-the-line features. In a few categories, it even trades blows with flagship-level devices in the market. This is what we’ve learned about the newcomer.
The display on Note 50 Pro+ 5G is very smooth with a 144Hz refresh rate, and combined with a Dimensity 8350 SoC, the UI is going to be super responsive. This engine works in tandem with 12 Gigs of hyper-fast LPDDR5x RAM and the latest standard UFS 4.0 storage. The starter configuration gives you 256 GB ROM.
That massive display you see on the front is a 6.78” AMOLED, curved on the sides with an extremely bright 1300 nits of peak luminance. Also, this is a 1080p FHD+ panel with a fluid 144Hz refresh rate — the first to be found in a sub-$500 handset. Its 2304Hz PWM dimming should help users with sensitive eyes.
There’s a dedicated chip inside the latest Infinix Note mobile to manage the power, battery health, and charging. The Cheetah X2 chip inside this device will optimize its 5200mAh battery. You can plug it into a 100W wired charger or a 50W wireless pad if that’s available. It will also do 10W reverse wireless charging in case you need it.
It’s even more impressive when we look at the cameras. There’s a 50 MP main Sony IMX896 lens on the rear side with OIS, and the secondary lens on the Note 50 Pro+ is an 8MP ultrawide. The best part about this camera rig is the dedicated 50 MP periscope telephoto lens that zooms 6X (optical) and up to 100X (digital).
If you are mainly concerned about selfies, the 32 MP front camera should do the trick. This Note 50 Pro+ has AI stuffed into almost every corner of the UI as part of its Infinix ∞AI suite. Like the rest of the models in the family, this new handset also gives you a Bio-Active Halo AI light, which activates when you are using the phone’s AI assistant.
Some of the other features available on Note 50 Pro+ are the X linear haptic motor, powerful dual speakers, NFC, and IR blaster, all packed in a chassis with IP64 rating. You even get the latest Android 15 XOS 15 system on startup. Surprisingly, the Note 50 Pro+ 5G with its 12/256GB memory trim only costs USD 370 (~PKR 103,000).
