Infinix Note 50 Series Indexed on GSMA Database; Launch Nearing Fast

Infinix’s Note 40 series was a big hit, and people loved it because of the wireless charging tech, and a Mag-kit inside the box. There’s no telling what kind of a stunt they will pull with their new Note 50 series. Speaking of which, four of the Note 50 series phones have appeared on GSMA’s smartphone index.

Multiple entries appeared yesterday on the GSMA database with the codes and product names to go by against. It’s a typical hierarchy that we are used to seeing with the Note but there’s one change we did not see coming. There’s now an Infinix Note 50X in that lineup call-sign ‘X6857.’

They didn’t specify anything about the internals, so there’s no telling if Note X is the best of all four, or the worse. The rest need no guessing about their ranks. Note 50 is at the baseline with a model code ‘X6858.’ This will be the successor of 20W wireless charging capable Note 40.

Their Infinix Note 50 Pro got the call sign ‘X6855’ on the GSMA database, and it seems to be the heir to the Note 40 Pro 4G phone that got Helio G99 last time with a wireless 20W Magcharger and even reverse wireless charging. Again, none of its specifics were mentioned in the GSMA index.

The Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus will be showing up as a 5G-ready phone again, just like last time, so they will probably use a Dimensity engine to pull the load. They addressed it with code ‘X6856’ on the listing, with no specs or details, but we can assume it will be the best of all.
