The new scent-infused device Infinix teased a few days ago has finally launched in an overseas market. The Infinix Note 50s 5G+ really is a one-of-a-kind device with undisputably premium specs and, on top of that, a design that we’ll remember for years to come.
This new Note 50s 5G+ has a stand-out quality, which Infinix calls “Energizing Scent-Tech” built into the Marine Drift Blue color option you see in these images. This is the only variant with vegan faux leather design that’s responsible for the Aroma around this newcomer.
Microencapsulation tech, which is to say, a porous leather back, helps Note 50s to capture scent molecules in the body, which are slowly released into the air over time. From what we’ve heard, you’ll be able to smell marine/lemon, lily of the valley, and base notes of amber and vetiver while holding the handset.
Since it is a Note series phone, we have other delectable features on this device like the Curved AMOLED display. It’s a 6.78” 1300 nits bright panel that can do up to 144Hz refresh rate at 1080p FHD+ resolution. There’s a Gorilla Glass 5 on top to protect it from scratches. For those browsing the Infinix rate list, this one stands out for offering premium specs at a mid-range price.
We have two speakers on this device tuned and optimized by JBL for Hi-Res Audio. Right beside the top speaker grille, there’s also an Infrared sensor. That means you can use this phone as a remote for IR appliances, like your AC or TV for example.
We should also mention that the phone is super light and thin at 180g 7.6mm depth. Even with its slim footprint, it squeezed in a 5500mAh battery under the shell. There’s also an All Round FastCharge tech 3.0, which is responsible for its 45W fast wired input and Bypass Charging.
The bioactive light on this phone is only a Colorful LED strip with no AI heart rate monitor. The camera on the back is 64MP, and the front shooter is 13MP. This newcomer also brings the Dimenstiy 7300 chip, WiFi 6, IP64 Rating, and Infinix AI bundled into its Android 15 package. The price tag is $190 (~PKR 53,000) for Infinix Note 50s 8/128 GB. The memory trim with 8/256 GB storage costs $210 (~PKR 59,000).
