Infinix Note 50x Might Be a Gaming Beast; Chipset Details Leaked

Infinix recently launched the Note 50 lineup with a base non-Pro model and an Infinix Note 50 Pro, both of which have Helio G100 chipsets. After the duo’s official unveiling, the company confirmed that a third member will join the family soon with the nametag “Infinix Note 50x 5G+.” The brand gave no specifics about this model, but we did find the phone’s SoC details through a leak yesterday.

Infinix Note 50x will go official on March 27th (launch date confirmed through a teaser). Even though we have clues about the phone’s color options, design, and timeline, there’s a lot that needs to be uncovered about its internals. One of the important details was exposed by GSMArena.

This reliable publication claims that the Infinix Note 50x will use a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, which should position the phone in the upper midrange category. From what we know about this chip, MediaTek has built it around an 8-core architecture with four Cortex A78 P-cores boosting to a 2.5GHz clock speed and four E cores with 2.0GHz clock speed.

There’s also an integrated Mali-G615 MP2 GPU inside the latest Infinix Note mobile, which has a turbo frequency of 1047MHz. The included AI accelerator is a MediaTek APU 655. The source was told by Infinix that the phone can do 90 FPS gaming. The SoC certainly seems capable of it, but the reliability will depend on the phone’s cooling solution.

We wait for more details to drop. Infinix intentionally let slip the phone’s camera design and color option. If you’ve seen the other Infinix Note 50 members, the camera design seems no different for the Note 50x as well. Infinix calls it a Gem Cut camera module, which is essentially an octagonal platform with three lenses and an Active Halo light onboard.

We also found the handset’s color options, one through the official teaser, which seems to be a Teal color, and one from leaked renders that showed the Note 50x in a White color. The days are numbered for the phone’s official launch until March 27th, and we are certain that more details should come out before then. Stay tuned, if you want to learn more about Infinix Note 50x.
