Infinix has officially introduced the latest addition to its Smart 8 Series. The long-awaited Infinix Smart 8 Pro crosses over to the real world, aiming for a global debut. Building on the success of the Smart 8 and Smart 8 HD, the newcomer combines aesthetics with cutting-edge features in a way that completely redefines the budget segment.

The phone’s highlight is a 6.6-inch punch-hole LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 CPU, offering reliable performance for various tasks. Users can choose between 128GB or 256GB configurations paired with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

For those needing additional storage, the device provides a microSD card slot. Equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, the Smart 8 Pro ensures extended usage on a single charge, supporting 10W charging via a USB-C port. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

The Infinix latest Smart mobile runs on the XOS 13 UI atop the Android 13 operating system. It carries an optimized camera setup featuring a 50MP primary (f/1.85 aperture) lens and an AI sensor on the rear. At the top, there’s an 8MP sensor for high-quality selfies.

Additional features on the Infinix Smart 8 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm audio connector. While the company hasn’t disclosed pricing details, the Smart 8 Pro is rumored to be a budget-centric phone. The smartphone will be available in four appealing color options, likely priced at under $120 (~PKR 33,500).
