Infinix is gearing up to shake the budget smartphone scene. The Smart 8 series by Infinix waits in the pipeline, ready to make an official debut. Spotted on GeekBench, Bluetooth SIG, and EEC, the Infinix Smart 8 Pro, rocking the model number X6525B, is already stirring excitement in the community.
The GeekBench listing spilled the beans on the Smart 8 Pro's performance, boasting 148 points in the single-core test and a commendable 533 points in the multi-core benchmark test. Under the hood, it's flexing the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, a reliable companion integrated with a neat 4GB of RAM.
Moreover, it’s running the Android 13 OS with XOS custom skin straight out of the box. While GeekBench delivered the juicy details, the EEC and Bluetooth SIG appearances remained tight-lipped, keeping us on our toes for the big reveal.
However, if its sibling, the Smart 8, is any indication, we can expect a step up in specs. The Infinix latest Smart mobile sports an HD+ display, presumably an LCD panel, powered by a Spreadtrum Unisoc T606 SOC paired with 3GB of RAM, all running on the Android 13-based XOS custom skin.
As for the Smart 8 Pro, anticipate a beefy 5,000mAh battery supporting standard 10W charging. The Nigerian launch teased a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz display, ensuring a smooth visual experience with 500 nits of brightness. The camera setup boasts an 8MP front shooter and a 13MP + AI lens dual-camera module on the back.
With the Infinix Smart 8 Pro getting tested across these platforms, the official launch is expected to unveil even more surprises. The budget-friendly smartphone is worth the wait because it’s not holding back on performance or features.
