Infinix is at it again, teasing smartphone enthusiasts with their upcoming budget-friendly device — the Infinix Smart 8 Pro. Following the highly-praised Infinix Smart 8 debut, this Pro variant plans to kick it up a notch. Its recent appearance on the Google Play Console spills everything we can expect from this phone.

At the heart of the Smart 8 Pro lies the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, an octa-core engine boasting a 2.3GHz boost for its primary cores. The graphics department gets a standard-performance PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Accompanying this will be 3GB of RAM with Android 13 (Lite) straight out of the box.

The Google Play Console listing also sheds light on the display. The Smart 8 Pro will bear 720×1612p resolution and a screen density of 320 DPI. While details on the camera setup and battery are still elusive, one thing is clear — the Smart 8 Pro is an entry-level contender in Infinix's lineup.

Comparatively, its sibling, the Infinix Smart 8, boasts a Unisoc T606 processor and Mali G57 graphics, providing a relatively better arrangement. With 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, expandable up to a whopping 2TB via microSD card, the Infinix latest Smart mobile runs on Android 13 (Go Edition) with the XOS 13 custom skin. Here are some other Smart 8 features the Pro takes inspiration from.

The vanilla Smart 8 flaunts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Camera-wise, it features a dual-lens setup, including a 13MP primary sensor, while the front sports an 8MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout.

Also noteworthy is the "Magic Ring" feature, drawing inspiration from Apple's Dynamic Island. Completing the package is a robust 5000mAh battery with 10W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
