Infinix Zero 40 5G Visits FCC and Geekbench; Reveals Chipset, Design, and Key Specs

The hype around their current Infinix Zero 30 series is fading away. Of course, they anticipated this much and started building the Zero 40 lineup long ago. We have yet to see an announcement, but there are some formal hints from FCC and Geekbench about Infinix Zero 40 5G. And they point us towards its spec sheet.

FCC and Geekbench mention the Zero 40 as ‘X6861.’ One of those listings has a blueprint of the phone that confirms what it looks like. There’s a new appearance to it, maybe inspired by the Tecno Camon 30 series. Circular design protrusion and four silos are a familiar look.

That blueprint also foreshadows that you are in for a flat build with Zero 40. Label ID position will be at the center. No surprise there. But what we found intriguing was a mention of 512 GB + 12 GB configuration on the label. It could be the starter RAM/ROM option.

But right now, we can’t deny the possibility of a 256 GB version. Still, 12 GB RAM may be standard among all. We learn from Geekbench that the SoC inside Infinix future's flagship mobile is Dimensity 8200. It’s right up the alley of a premium mid-ranger. Android 14 (XOS 14) will be sitting here by default.

FCC also left hints about NFC support. That will make a great addition to its roster. Also, we are looking at 45W charging speed. That’s everything about the 5G version. But we hear a 4G Zero 40 is also in the making. And it will do 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. And their designs will be identical.
