Infinix is about to reheat the Android smartphone market in Asia. The chain holds three new gadgets in the bag, ready for deployment. Two are semi-premium smartphones, Infinix Zero 5G 2023 and Note 12i 2022; the third is Zero Book Ultra, Infinix's next iteration of premium Notebooks.
Infinix Note 12i 2022 and Zero 5G 2023 are official and have debuted globally. Since both smartphones emerged as global contenders, their arrival in Asia was imminent. Despite earlier assumptions about the launch in Pakistan, India will reportedly be the first Asian country among others to receive these phones.
Since the current economic crisis is equally affecting all smartphone brands in the country, these devices are also caught in the crosshairs. We are unsure if these new Infinix models will see the light of day in Pakistan. At any rate, here's everything they pack inside.
Note 12i 2022 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a side-mounted fingerprint reader featuring security. In its optical camera duo, 50MP and 2MP rear sensors rest, as well as an 8MP front camera that resides inside a notch. The new note Infinix mobile runs on an Helio G85 SoC, 5000mAh-33W cell with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Infinix Zero 5G 2023, on the other hand, fires a Dimensity 1080 core with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 5000mAh cell at 33W. Its premium league camera boast 50MP prime, 2MP depth, and 2MP Macro sensors. An IPS 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD maps the front portion of the phone, refreshing at 120Hz. Both models share the Android 12 Operating system.
These devices were the front runners for launch in Pakistan, but in light of the current import deficit and crippling dollar-to-PKR ratio, might not make it to the local shelves. However, the parent devices in the Note 12 Lineup are available for purchase.
