Infinix Zero 8i and Zero 8 recently got launched in Pakistan, taking the ongoing trend of budget-minded ‘flagships’ further. The Zero 8 packs a lot of high-end features at a mid-range price. Infinix cut a few corners on performance to bring you features you’d rarely find in this bracket — fast charging, high refresh rate, and six cameras.

The Infinix Zero 8 has a dual selfie camera on the front and a quad-camera system on the back. The setup affords you plenty of versatility, from macro shots to wide-angle selfies.

The primary rear camera is the Sony IM686 sensor from last year with an f/1.9 aperture and autofocus support.  It's a 64MP lens that bins to 16MP shots.

We also have an 8MP camera for ultra-wide-angle shots on the Infinix Zero 8. Plus a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP for depth sensing.  The macro lens covers the 70mm which shutterbugs need for closeups. Depending on the scene, you can choose from 12 different camera modes.

In low-light, you can toggle the night mode on or use the AI Cam to get better software-processed results. You can shoot 4K videos at 30 FPS with the Infinix Zero 8, which are stabilized using gyroscope-powered electronic image stabilization. Overall a nice addition to the Infinix price list.

The front-facing camera is the world’s first 48MP standard and 8MP ultra-wide combination. The recently launched Oppo F17 Pro has a similar setup on paper — 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP/16MP + 2MP — but costs roughly Rs. 10,000 higher. Infinix Zero 8’s selfie camera does not only shoot in a higher resolution but also has a wider f/2.2 aperture in comparison.

It also supports eye-tracking autofocus for sharper selfies — the same feature that Vivo V20’s marketing is centered around. But of course, at a much lower price point. Instead of setting you back north of Rs. 50,000, the Infinix Zero 8 starts from Rs. 39,999.
